Frequently Asked Questions
What inspired you to become a wedding planner?
I was really good at my corporate job, but I was tired of feeling robotic and planning projects that didn’t bring me joy. When I sat down and really started to think about what I truly wanted to do, I realized that some of my happiest memories came from organizing celebrations for the people I love. I was always the one pulling friends and family together - whether it was creating itineraries for international trips, booking flights and accommodations, or throwing themed college parties. I was the one throwing themed parties in college. As my friends began getting engaged, married, and having babies, I naturally became the go-to person to plan their celebrations. That joy and energy are what led me to start Ros&Co.
How would you describe your style and approach to planning?
I’ve been told many times that I’m a “bad texter”—not because I don’t respond, but because I’m straightforward and to the point. That’s exactly how I work as a planner: honest, organized, and efficient. I’ve always been Type A (my bed was made as a kid, my Barbies were perfectly lined up, and my homework was always done before my mom got home), and I never really grew out of it.
My biggest strengths as a planner are being honest with you when you need it, cutting through the fluff, and keeping you focused on what matters. I treat wedding planning the same way I treat my closest friendships: I’ll talk you off a ledge when you’re overwhelmed, keep you accountable when things need to get done, and always be one step ahead, anticipating what’s next.
What can couples expect when working with you?
I start by getting to know you; your story, what matters most, and how you want to feel on your wedding day and how you want your guests to feel. Weddings should reflect who you are as a couple, not just check boxes on a to-do list.
From there, we build a foundation: guest list and budget come first, followed by an extensive checklist broken down month by month with clear responsibilities. We’ll meet regularly (monthly or more, depending on your package) to make decisions and keep things moving forward. My philosophy is simple: if we chip away at the planning each month, by the time your wedding arrives you’ll feel prepared, confident, and free to enjoy the celebration.
How do you handle challenges or unexpected changes?
My first priority is always to remind my couples that I’m on their side. I’m there to advocate for you and make things right. From there, I take a deep breath, gather the facts, and come up with a plan.
One of my most memorable experiences where things didn’t go quite as planned was a wedding at a private estate where severe weather warnings forced us to pivot. Ninety minutes before the ceremony, I advised the couple to move to the tent, even though it wasn’t raining yet. Within minutes of guests arriving, the skies opened and the tent began to flood. In the moment, I created a “Plan C” - moving the ceremony and cocktail hour inside the house. My team handled guest logistics, while I coordinated with the DJ and catering team to transition everything seamlessly. The couple had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by loved ones indoors, and by dinner time, the rain had cleared, the tent was free of water, and guests danced the night away. It’s all about staying calm, thinking ahead, and making sure the celebration continues.
What do you love most about being part of a couple’s wedding day?
I love being a bridal concierge, supporting the couple, assisting the photographer, and capturing little behind-the-scenes moments they can relive the next day. I tear up during almost every ceremony because I just love love.
But my favorite moments often come at the very end of the night, when parents pull me aside to say something like, “This was the best wedding I’ve ever been to - we couldn’t have done it without you.” Hearing that from the people who matter most reminds me that my team and I don’t just plan weddings, we create experiences that leave lasting impressions.
Do you work alone?
No! If you book Ros&Co for full or partial planning, I’m personally with you every step of the way. On the wedding day, I bring along 1–3 assistants to ensure that setup and guest experience run seamlessly.
For day-of coordination, you’ll be paired with a Lead Coordinator (sometimes that’s me!) plus 1–2 assistants, so you’ll always have a team making sure everything goes smoothly.
So how do we book?
Head over to the Contact Page and fill out the form! We’ll set up a 30-minute consultation to get to know each other. Just as much as you’re interviewing me, I’m making sure I’m the right fit for you too. I can’t wait to hear your story.
